We have vacancies on our team for floor technicians to work across a number of buildings.
Job brief:
We are looking for floor technicians who are personally motivated to clean and maintain our Client’s floor and carpets to their standards and satisfaction. Employees will receive paid training, approved overtime, and approved holiday pay. If interested, apply now.
Responsibilities
- Professionally maintain hard floor and carpeted surfaces
- Strip & refinish, propane or electric burnish/buff hard floor surfaces
- Clean carpets by hot water extraction or dry-cleaning methods
- Maintain equipment and supplies
- Follow workplace safety standards
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Work late night hours, weekends, and holidays
- Have excellent hand and eye coordination. Knowledge of pH levels and an understanding of the proper use of chemicals, supplies, and equipment
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
- Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets
- Integrity and ability to work independently
- High school degree
Three – Five years of experience in hard floor and carpet maintenance
Great attention to detail is a MUST
